Absolute horror show last start when bolting for a run up the entire straight. Mallyon sticking makes me nervous but hopefully barrier 1 is used to advantage. It should have won by 3 lengths plus last start and can atone here.

I have always had plenty of time for Miss Hipstar. She has always contested open company throughout here career so the step back to benchmark company looks very suitable. Needs another win but flies fresh and gets the right map and draw here. The $9.50 appeals.

Holyfield (Gold Coast Race 8 No. 2)
Extremely good effort from Holyfield last run however that did seem its grand final. Strips fitter 2nd up but did produce a career peak and there is some good value about in this race. Hard to beat but the $2.20 is short enough.
