Best Bet | Bedford Square (Kensington Race 4 No.4)

This mare performed very well last start despite not only having the jockey ride 1kg over the allotted weight but considering they opted to attempt to ride her in a midfield position, which ended up last due to the poor start and wide gate. She faced better quality horses that night compared to today and I don’t think the step back to 1550m will be a query. She gets 3kg off due to Gibbons claim, is very consistent and hopefully she begins well enough to make use of the nice draw.

Suggested bet: 1 unit @ $4.20

Next Best | Silent Agenda (Kensington Race 6 No.2)

This bloke had a tough run last start at Warwick Farm where he started a bit too well from the wide gate and ended up spending over half the race three wide the trip. He is third-up coming into this race and is no stranger to the quick-back up of 7 days of less, doing it four times in his career for 2 wins and 2 seconds. He does get the 2kg claim of Tyler Schiller, which is ideal, he is drawn a lot better and has raced very well at this track in the past. Joe Pride has a good history of backing up his horses but will sticking to 1400m be too short? We are getting a nice price to find out.

Suggested bet: 0.5 unit @ $8.00

Each Way | Invincible Kiss (Kensington Race 7 No.4)

There is an abundance of speed in the final event, and I’ve settled with a horse that can camp nicely behind the speed from an ideal barrier. This girl is an out and out sprinter who is going to relish the good track. Two back in a much harder race she was game in defeat finishing 2.1 lengths off Dragonstone and 1.7 lengths off the runner-up De Grawin, before heading to Warwick Farm to meet De Grawin again to only go down by less than a length. Reece Jones sticks with her, which gives her a nice 2kg off which will assist her chances late in this wide-open race. Definitely worth an each-way ticket.

Suggested bet: 0.5 unit @ $13.00
