One of my all time favourites. It was a barnstorming first up win before bolting again second up. This Filly out of dam Volante then was a good thing beat third up when given a ‘conservative’ steer on a leaders bias Canterbury. She was then thrown in the deep end was far from poor in open company before finally saying enough is enough in her final prep run. James McDonald is booked first up which shows a stack of intent and she has been $7.00 into $3.50. She should sit midfield and run over these onto some better races this prep.

Best Each Way
Gold Lover (Randwick Race 3 No. 1)
Plenty to learn in this race but happy to be with Gold Lover at the healthy odds. Lead and gave a very good sight on debut being run down Stanislaus with a decent gap to third. Its worth noting that horse ran off the track a bit and was unlucky to lose in a much stronger race last week. The form looks excellent and Costin can take Gold Lover to the front and give us a great sight at the $12.00.

Outlawed (Randwick Race 1 No. 8)
Has done nothing wrong to date this prep with 2 placings in a row and maps for the gun run from barrier 1 but leaning to the form of Gago here. Its also worth noting Chris Waller has 6 runners in this 8 horse field. Backing the odds on favourite to beat his army of 6 takes a brave effort.
