Always On Show (Canterbury Race 3 No.2)
This girl popped into our blackbook on September 17 following her one-length defeat at Newcastle. She was immaculate on the day, sitting wide without cover throughout the run with 61kg and still kicking well over the concluding stages when finishing second. On the clock, she still ran the quickest final 400m of the entire race which is amazing. This is a nice race for her and gets the golden 2kg claim of Dylan Gibbons, so with luck, she will be in the finish.

Shalailed (Canterbury Race 2 No.1)
I think this is a nice race for this Shalaa colt who is dropping back in grade. Last start at Warwick Farm, he ran a solid third behind Democracy Manifest, in a race that has since produced three winners and one placing. Reece Jones retains the ride and gets the 1.5kg off, and he gets a nice draw to be able to map just off the leaders. I think he is over the odds and should be the favourite.
