Coming back from an 11 week let-up she chased hard for 1.5 lengths 2nd over 1300m at Rosehill on heavy going on 27 November, then she raced away for a 2.2 length win over 1400m at Randwick on 11 December. Should win.

Unbeaten in two starts, this three-year-old Real Impact filly trained by Paul Messara at Scone has had a great start to her career. She debuted in a fillies & mares maiden handicap over 1350m at Newcastle on 23 November where she won by 0.7 length, then she hit the front at the 200m and hung on for a narrow win over 1600m at Scone on 10 December. Drops in weight and looks a good each-way bet.

This unraced three-year-old Counterattack gelding trained by Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou is the early favourite in this Colts, Geldings & Entires Maiden Plate over 1100m. He won a Rosehill trial by 4.8 lengths on 14 December but has drawn wide in barrier 12 and doesn’t offer value .
