Arbitration (Rosehill Gardens Race 5 No. 1)
Happy to back this Street Boss mare who is stepping back majorly in grade. Two runs back she ran second to Pizarro in a Saturday Benchmark 78, while also beating home Larkspur Run. Last start was a forgive run as she was held up for half the straight before making some decent ground when fourth behind Hell I Am on a bog Randwick track. She has since had an excellent tick-over trial and gets the chance to contest a Benchmark 72 in midweek grade and against her own sex as well. The draw is a touch awkward and will need some luck, but she has the class to overcome it, and the 3kg off from the Zac Lloyd claim brings her in nicely. The price is worth the punt.

Stray (Rosehill Gardens Race 6 No. 14) & Mensa Missile (Rosehill Gardens Race 6 No. 7)
Backing two in this race. Stray is second up after smashing the line in a much harder race at Randwick in a Saturday Benchmark 78 grade. She dropped back from the bad gate and flew home for second behind Ita, War Eternal, and Arnold. She has drawn ideally here and this is the easiest she has faced since she broke her maiden status. From the draw, I am expecting a more forward run. Mensa Missile was another who was good first up when he finished three-quarters of a length off Democracy Manifest in a midweek Benchmark 72 at Warwick Farm. The draw isn’t ideal but I love Josh Parr sticking and he should give him a nice ride regardless. He will travel well and be thereabouts, and at the price, he isn’t the worst saver bet.
