Quantico (Gosford Race 4 No. 4)
This five-year-old I Am Invincible gelding trained by John O’Shea has three wins and a place from seven starts. At the end of last campaign he dead-heated for the win over 1200m at Eagle Farm on 4 July, then was spelled for 25 weeks. he resumed for 7.5 lengths 10th over 1200m at Randwick on 26 Deceber where he was found to be lame. Resumes here after a 38 week spell and has had two nice lead-up trials. Should be hard to beat.

Kuzco Lad (Gosford Race 3 No.2):
This five-year-old Zoustar gelding trained by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott has three wins and seven places from 17 starts. He settled 2nd but was winded late for 2.2 lengths 3rd over 1550m at Kensington on 18 August, then was nabbed late for 0.2 length 2nd over 1900m at Gosford on 8 September. Has placed at both previous outings to this track and looks a good each-way bet.

Best Lay
Hoover Lucy (Gosford Race 6 No. 5):
This three-year-old No Nay Never filly trained by Chris Waller has three places from four starts. At the end of last campaign she just missed for 0.1 length 2nd in the Listed Carter Stakes over 1200m at Doomben on 22 May. After 15 weks she resumed for 6.1 lengths 10th over 1300m at Randwick on 4 September, where she faded late. Should be fitter but is one of two maidens in the race and others are better value.
