This four-year-old Snitzel gelding trained by Bjorn Baker has three wins and two places from seven starts. At the end of last campaign he was hampered in the concluding stages in restricted room and finished 5.1 lengths 7th over 1259m at Canterbury on 19 February. When resuming he took over straightening and went clear for a 1.3 length win over 1100m at Warwick Farm on 1 December. Should be hard to beat.

Oceanic Flash (Warwick Farm Race 3 No. 1):
This four-year-old Sacred Falls gelding trained by Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou has three wins and three places from nine starts. He kept chasing to find the front at the 100m and got the bob in on the line for a narrow win over 2100m at Wyong on 16 November, then raced greenly in the straight but still won by 0.3 length over 2130m at Warwick Farm on 1 December. Drawn nicely in barrier 1 he looks a nice each-way chance.

Mensa Missile (Warwick Farm Race 7 No. 3):
This five-year-old Smart Missile gelding trained by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott is the early favourite in this BM 72 handicap over 1300m. At the end of last campaign he was winded at the latter stages and finished 3.9 lengths 9th over 1400m at Rosehill on 5 June. He resumed on 3 December to finish 0.5 length 2nd over 1250m at Kensington. Goes up in weight and others offer better value.
