This four-year-old Adelaide gelding trained by Les Bridge has one win and five places from seven starts. He fought on well but couldn’t get past the winner for 0.5 length 2nd over 1600m at Wyong on 21 September, then went clear approaching the turn and raced away for a 5.8 length win over 1600m at Wyong on 30 Sepember. Has drawn perfectly in barrier 1 and drops 3kg in weight. Leading hope.

Showtime Lady (Randwick Race 6 No. 8):
This four-year-old Showcasing mare trained by Brad Widdup at Hawkesbury has three wins and two places from her 10 starts. She took over at the 300m and went clear for a 1.7 length win over 1300m at Goulburn on 25 September where she had the best last 400m race sectional, then she fought on well for a length 2nd over 1300m at Goulburn on 9 October. This is harder but she has drawn well and looks a good each-way chance.

Conrad (Randwick Race 2 No.1):
This three-year-old Maurice gelding trained by Kim Waugh at Wyong is the early favourite in this 3YO Grad Handicap over 1400m. At the end of his first campaign he was winded late and finished 6 lengths 7th in the Group 3 T L Baillieu Handicap ove 1400m at Rosehill on 3 April, where he was slow to recover and was spelled. He resumed for a 1.2 length win over 1100m at Hawkesbury on 19 August. Carries an extra 3kg here and this is 300m longer. Willing to risk him.
