Morioka (Randwick Race 5 No. 9)
This three-year-old Maurice filly trained by Chris Waller has had four places from her four starts. She kept chasing for 1.3 lengths 2nd on the heavy track over 1200m at Canterbury on 5 May where she finished 4.8 lengths ahead of the 3rd horse and had the best last 200m race sectional of the day at distance, then she fought hard to be in the finish for 0.4 length 3rd in the Listed Carter Stakes over 1200m at Doomben on 22 May. Has placed in all her races so far and will be hard to beat.

Kennedy Choice (Randwick Race 6 No. 9):
This four-year-old Choisir gelding from the David Payne stable has two wins and five places from 12 starts. After four places in a row he was a 1.3 length winner of a maiden handicap over 1300m at Kembla Grange on 22 July, then found the front at the 200m and fought on for a 0.43 length win over 1300m at Hawkesbury on 19 August. Looks a good each-way bet here.

Terwilliker (Randwick Race 2 No. 4):
This seven-year-old Pierro gelding trained by Anthony Cummings is the early favourite in this BM 72 Handicap over 2400m. He is very honest and has placed at his last three starts, all over this 2400m distance. He kept chasing for 1.3 lengths 3rd over 2400m at Randwick on 7 August, then finished 3.8 lengths 2nd over 2400m at Randwick on 21 August. He rises 4kg from those runs and others offer better value.
