Shadow Devil (Warwick Farm Race 7 No. 10)

Happy to side with this Capitalist colt following two consistent displays here at his home track. He ran blistering sectionals first up when coming from near last to finish 0.25 of a length back in second behind Democracy Manifest first up before having another go at the track and distance second up. He once again settled towards the rear of the field in a slowly run race and again ran second, this time to Stromboli by 0.4 of a length. He will need some luck again as he will settle towards the back of this field though there is plenty of pace to bring him into the race and the step up in grade means he drops 2.5kgs as well. Providing we get a fair track, this guy will be hitting the line again, hopefully this time for a victory.

Current Price: $3.40

Starstruck Barbie (Warwick Farm Race 4 No.7)

Happy to back this girl who was scheduled to run a fortnight ago but the heavy track threw them off and they scratched her. The forecast looks okay and with the track in the soft range, this will suit her a lot better this time, providing nothing extra hits the track. Her run two back behind Cinque Torri was brilliant at Wyong with that horse winning and placing twice since.  Her last start was a 1.4 length second to Roots which is tremendous for this as she has dropped back in grade here. She will likely sit in the front four and give a kick on the turn, making her terrific each way value.

Current Price: $13.00

Our Launceston Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday. The track is a Soft 5 and the rail is +3 metres. The features are the Hellova Street Stakes (race 7), Launceston Cup (race 8) and Vamos Stakes (race 9). As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with an advantage to those who find the inside lanes in the straight. Best Bet D'oro Star  (Launceston Race 5 No. 1) He's been in the trifecta
