The daughter of Starspangledbanner is yet to finish this preparation outside of the top three, and that’s with an array of poor draws, mixed tracks, and different grades. Her past three have been on a Saturday when she has finished second to Rubinocchi, third to Riva Del Sol and Pizarro after blundering the start, and a third behind Shades of Rose and Sneaky Paige while racing wide without cover. This is the easiest grade she has faced in this preparation, she has drawn well and maps to get a dream run. This is her race if she wants it.

Le Vizir | (Canterbury Race 5 No.3)
The son of Siyouni broke through last start for his first win since late last year, and I think the drying track here on Wednesday is going to bring him right into the race. He was amazing back in grade last start at Newcastle, saluting by 3.7 lengths, and it was the best he has looked all preparation. Sticking to a similar distance and going up slightly in grade, he has a big chance to run another big race. Rory Hutchings has come to Canterbury for this one ride and from a nice draw, he should be able to park behind a hot speed.
