Airman (Rosehill Race 3 No. 6)
This isn’t a deep race so I have gone with the favourite and horse with the most upside. He has been impressive in both his starts to date with the latest being first-up this preparation, where he was a 0.7 of a length winner at Kembla Grange. He settled just off the leaders in fourth before being too powerful for his opposition late. He carried 60kg as a three-year-old giving weight to horses who were older than him, and he still made them pay. This is a nice step up in grade, gets a vital 3kg off thanks to Zac Lloyd and we might get a nice price if we bet late due to the poor draw. He looks like a horse who has a motor but needs to get going early, so hopefully, a move is made and he streaks away for us.

Mr Gee (Rosehill Race 7 No.1)
I thought his first-up run when finishing 2.6 lengths off Tamerlane in a much harder grade was very good and he should come on nicely from that run. He drops majorly back in grade and gets 1.5kg off from Reece Jones from a nice draw. It is a similar pattern to what they did last preparation when he was a one-length winner at Canterbury second-up following a fair first-up run. Think he is worth a speck each-way.
