Kiss N Run (Gilgandra Race 6 No. 11)
I think this is a nice race for the Choisir mare who is coming off a narrow second behind Wasserman at Bathurst. She made her run with the eventual winner but just couldn’t get past him. She comes back in distance and enters a benchmark 58 which is highly suitable, and with the extra weight off due to the claim of Teaghan Martin, she is going to be well placed for this race. She has drawn superbly and maps to sit just off the leader in Riders Inthe Stand who goes like the wind, so if she can keep close, she should be too strong for that mare in the concluding stages.

Soosie Boog (Gilgandra Race 3 No.13)
I think the move to Gilgandra is perfect for this Sooboog mare as she looks to break her maiden status. She was outstanding in her latest trial as Scone, running some nice figures to salute by almost seven lengths. Her final 600m was approx 2.3 lengths above standard, and being her third trial, I am expecting her to be ready to rock and roll here. The draw is okay as she should shoot to the front and make every post a winner in a very winnable maiden race.
