Smiling Prophet is knocking on the door and was enormous last run rocketing from a hopeless spot. It meets a similar field here and has barrier 1. First up when it drew barrier 1 it lead from pillar to post and expecting the same here. If the barrier is used well I am confident it wins.

Xtra Intent (Scone Race 5 No. 2)
They don’t trial much better than Xtra Intent did the other day and with Grant Buckley steering and a nice draw it does look very well placed in this race. Early markets have found it and if it brings its 8th length trial to race day it should give this an almighty shake at nice odds.

Best Lay
Akauwheo (Scone Race 7 No. 8)
Is going to need plenty to go right from barrier 11. This race isn’t overly hard however a few of these chances are knocking on the door and its main rivals are drawn much better. The $4.00 is short enough with the poor map.
