Miss Shalaa looks ready to win and will appreciate dropping back from the city. Her running pattern is right up on the speed so the wide barrier isn’t too much of a concern. In a field lacking depth this really does look her race to lose and the $2.40 is a fair price.

Fair to say Stormy Pluck doesn’t win out of turn however this race does look well within reach. It swaps barrier 10 for barrier 3 and Murray should give it a great run in transit. This race is within reach and it will take some beating on a 1×3 basis.

Russian Standard (Tamworth Race 3 No. 3)
No denying that Russian Standard has ability but it just hasn’t put it all together thus far. Rolled at prices of $2.30,$1.40,$3.50,$1.50,$3.40 and $3.50. I just couldn’t possibly get involved again at the odds while it looks for its 7th loss in a row below $4.00. Happy to avoid.
