Golden Point (Hawkesbury Race 6 No. 1)
This looks a nice race for the son of Bullpoint as he looks to make it three wins on the trot. Last start he was first up in an open race at Tamworth which has had the form franked nicely with Primal Scream winning since and Anethole running a solid race behind Nature Strip in a Group 2. He gets 1.5kg off with Zac Lloyd riding, he is drawn beautifully and should head forward to get a nice position. He looks terribly hard to beat but even a small saver on Ang Pow will ease the nerves should you want to back a couple.

Desert Spring (Hawkesbury Race 5 No.3)
This is the debut of the son of American Pharaoh following a couple of nice trials. In both his latest two trials at Warwick Farm, he was able to sit on the pace and win both trials for a combined margin of eight lengths. He has entered for Scone on Friday also but there isn’t a jockey booked so I am assuming they are heading here with Tommy Berry booked. He has drawn nicely and should get into a nice prominent position in what looks like a very weak maiden race. He should go close.
