They’ll need to be running on for Frontenac to be a chance but if they can, it has to be a massive hope here. Brings in some ratings on par to what the favourite has produced. Its run in midweek company on a heavy track was excellent. Lloyd will need to be very good from the draw but he is a talented rider and this race is within reach.

Belle Espoir (Hawkesbury Race 6 No.4 )
Returns from a break and has some very strong form. Won’t be easy to win fresh on the heavy 10 but will handle the conditions and is the best horse in this race. The market should be a good guide late but the $5.00 is a solid pice.

Tradition (Hawkesbury Race 1 No. 11)
Needs luck from out wide and Rachel King will probably be riding for luck. Tradition’s one go on the heavy was very poor and it doesn’t look like a good set up for it. The $3.40 is awfully short given the draw and conditions.
