Belle Espoir (Scone Race 8 No. 1)
Convinced Belle Espoir is better than this grade, it just hasn’t had things fall into place for it this prep. Absolutely bolted in at a similar level of depth to this race before sitting on a hot speed and finding Hope In Your Heart and Frumos too good. The luckless 4th in a BM72 reads super for this and I expect it to win if ready to go.

Viennoiserie & The Jaguar (Scone Race 5 No. 6 & 7)
Backing 2 at a price. Viennoiserie hasn’t had much luck this prep but has a booming turn of foot and is more than capable of rounding these up. The Jaguar drops a stack of weight and simply can’t catch a break this prep having raced wide again last start. No favours again from the draw but can win at $21.00

Best Lay
Oceans One (Scone Race 6 No. 3)
Was okay last start without much luck but there is plenty of depth to this race. Jennings is going to need things to fall into place from barrier 7 and some of these are well and truly proven at this grade. The $3.60 is a touch on the short side.
