Fox Fighter (Rosehill Race 5 No. 2)
He is one of the two runners here that has had a run this preparation and his form has been pretty good. He was a tight second to Holy Tycoon first up at Canterbury before winning over 1100m at Rosehill in Saturday grade. Last start on the heavy going, he stepped up to a benchmark 88 and wasn’t disgraced when finishing within two lengths of Titanium Power when being a touch too far off them. He comes back to a benchmark 78 here, has drawn nicely and should be peaking in fitness now. Happy to bet on him with a saver bet on Broken Arrows.

Starman (Rosehill Race10 No.2)
Has been just fair in two starts this preparation but hasn’t been that far away behind Fox Fighter and The Poacher. I love the step up to 1400m and I expect them to settle a touch closer in the run now that he is third up into a 1400m race. I just think he is going much better than his form suggests, and I think he can be in the finish at each way odds.
