Our Hawkesbury Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. Feature races are the Hawkesbury Gold Cup (race 9), Hawkesbury Guineas (race 7), Hawkesbury Crown (race 8) and Hawkesbury Rush (race 6).

Norwegian Blue (Hawkesbury Race 10 No. 3)

Five wins from five starts means this El Roca mare trained by Nathan Doyle has never been beaten. She was a length winner over 1400m at Newcastle on 13 November at the end of last campaign, then resumed with a 0.6 length win over 1100m at Hawkesbury on 13 April. Has won on soft going before and looks set to keep her unbeaten record intact.

Authentic Jewel (Hawkesbury Race 5 No. 8)

This three-year-old I Am Invincible filly trained by Brad Widdup at Hawkesbury has four wins and two places from nine starts. She finished last campaign with 0.4 length 2nd in the Listed Gosford Guineas over 1200m on 29 December. Resumes here from a 17 week spell and is undefefeated in two lead-up trials. Looks a great each-way bet on her home track.

I’m Not Slew (Hawkesbury Race 2 No. 3)

A three-year-old filly resuming from a 25 week spell who has to carry more weight than she has in her previous three starts and has drawn barrier 17. She has talent but so do many others in the race and I don’t think she will be winning.

Our Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting. Key Comments The rail is in the true position. The best bet resumes off a break and showed plenty of determination to win from a hopeless spot last start. Best Bet The Autumn Belle (Sandown Hillside Race 4 No. 10) Sticking with her after a brilliant finale when rattling home from a tough spot. Barrier 2 and Damian Lane are both ideal for this race and she will take some beating despite jumping back in trip.

Horse Racing Tips : TAS Wednesday 6th March 2024

Our Launceston Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday. The evening meeting has 9 races with the first at 5.36pm. The track is a Soft 5 and the rail is +8 metres from the 1200m to the winning post and +6 metres for the remainder. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with an advantage to those who find the inside lanes in the straight. David Pires has some good rides.
