He was tremendous first up in the Bill Ritchie, when winning by 1.4 lengths whilst giving the rest of the field 5.5kg minimum. It was a peak first-up performance and we finally get to see him second up and out to the mile at this point of his preparation. He has drawn nicely, Bowman sticks and he will relish any of the conditions at hand. This bloke is all class and I expect that to shine on Saturday.

Mazu (Royal Randwick Race 7 No.3)
I loved his run first up in the Shorts behind Nature Strip when he finished 2.5 lengths back in fifth. Although he didn’t finish as well as his rival here in Lost And Running, you have to look at the conditions at hand on Saturday. Mazu will be meeting Lost And Running 2kg better off for his one-length defeat and Mazu loves the heavy tracks, which we are likely to get on Saturday. He has drawn well second up and up to 1200m is ideal. Should be right in the finish
