Zoukerino | (Rosehill Gardens Race 8 No. 11)
Deciding to take the risk with this Snitzel colt, who looks very progressive. He was very impressive on debut at Kensington, saluting by just over 3.5 lengths and he has since trialled well to keep the fitness up. He has the fitness edge on a couple of his rivals and he has drawn ideally to get a gun run throughout. I know the stable has a high opinion of him, so I expect him to be in the finish and run a big race.

I really like this Chris Waller trained mare, looking for win number four on the bounce. She was good here almost a month ago over the same distance and in the same grade, and she has since trailled up nicely to keep the fitness up. The pre-race earmuffs go on for the first time (which Waller has a 19% win strike rate when applying them the first time) and I still think she gets a nice run despite drawing wide. Lunakorn is the other I don’t mind at big odds. She was just fair last start in weaker grade but it was her first-up run and at Canterbury, so I am willing to give her a tick for that run. She gets out to a bigger track, gets a vital 3kg claim, and maps to get a nice run throughout. She is massive overs for a mare who is going to love the extra distance.
