Ellsberg (Rosehill Gardens Race 8 No. 3)
Patterns can mean a lot in racing, especially in the better races and this bloke has a nice pattern of winning fresh. He is 3/3 first-up, placed at Rosehill 6/7 with three of those wins, and handles the distance and the conditions. He has had two trials in preparation for this and is no stranger to winning this class of race first-up, as he won the Liverpool Cup first-up last preparation. Drawn well, maps well, hard to beat.

Heresy (Rosehill Gardens Race 5 No. 4)
This girl hasn’t raced in a benchmark race since her debut, running in 10 group races and a listed race, outside of her maiden debut. She returns on the back of just one trial and she has drawn a nice gate to be able to sit midfield if they choose to. There does look to be some pace in the race which will suit her and despite not winning over 1100m yet and placing twice first-up, she handles all conditions. Worth a speck at the price.
