This son of Flying Artie was massive first-up at Newcastle, destroying the field by 1.3 lengths. He drops back in grade to a benchmark 68 and gets to take on his own sex. Ronald Simpson will take the ride which will knock 3kg off, which means he will only carry 1.5kg more than his brilliant win last start, against a field where the lowest weight is 57kg (55.5kg after a claim). Drawn well, maps well, and should be hard to beat.

Noble Attack (Kembla Grange Race 3 No.5)
He has made good progress since taking the blinkers off two starts ago, running a solid second to the talented Dream Game. The next start at the same track and up to 1300m, he put in a similar effort to just get run down late. Now he has accepted for Moruya on Monday, so we will have to keep an eye on the scratchings, but he has drawn beautifully here, maps to get a soft lead and has the 3kg apprentice riding him for the third time this preparation. Huge value if they remain here.
