Raider Eightyeight (Queanbeyan Race 3 No. 8)
The son of Better Than Ready has had just one trial in his career, and it was earlier this year in May when he was hard held in fourth behind Choccy Gaf on pretty soft going. He hasn’t had any public trials since which is a concern, though the stable has an 11% strike rate first up and a 19% winning strike rate at the track. It’s not a deep maiden, so I expect Alysha Collett to kick up from barrier one and to sit in a handy position before unleashing late.

Rebellious Miss (Queanbeyan Race 6 No.8)
I don’t think she is the worst each-way bet in an open race. There does look to be some early speed in the race which will help bring her into the race and this is probably the easiest class of race she has contested in some time. The draw does look a touch awkward but with speed around her, she should get a nice cart to wherever they want to put her. She carries a low weight thanks to Anna Roper’s claim and gets the blinkers on for the first time, and if the pace ends up what is expected, she will be smashing the line hard.
