Talbragar (Tamworth Race 7 No. 2)
I usually don’t like tipping them this short but I think it’s the best of the day, and a potential Kosciuszko horse, at around $26 in futures markets. He is undefeated in two starts winning by 1.2 lengths on debut followed by a one and out at Tamworth in March, winning by 4.5 lengths. If you get a chance to look at his latest trial, do so as he was hard held the entire straight and still one the trial by half a length. His breeding tells you everything, and he should win this comfortably.

Divine Cresent (Tamworth Race 6 No.2)
Scratched from Dubbo Sunday for this one and he is having his first start for the Cameron Crockett stable. His previous form includes a couple of thirds at Bathurst before going for a break and having two trials with the previous trainer Bjorn Baker, with his latest at Kembla on the 10th of August looking quite nice before being taken over by Crockett. The draw is okay, the drying track helps and he maps well for how I think the track will play.
