Manila Thriller (Moruya Race 7 No. 3)
The daughter of Your Song won well two runs back in Class 1 before stepping up straight to Class 3, where she ran a super race, finishing 0.5 of a length back in fourth, running some nice sectionals over the closing stages. She drops back to a Class 2 and jumps back up in distance which is ideal and the draw is decent, so I am expecting Penza to be putting him in a similar position to last start before peeling off them when entering the straight.

The Boomerang (Moruya Race 6 No.8)
I think this 45-start gelding can return to the winners circle here or at least be in the finish. Two runs back he settled to the rear of the field and only come home moderately before stepping up to 2000m last start with the blinkers back on, and they stormed to the front and led most of the way before finishing 2.8 lengths back in second. I like the drop back to 1650m and the apprentice going on to claim 2.5kg indicates to me they will head forward again, especially since this race lacks pace. He is drawn well, so I expect Ruby Haylock to get him on the pace, and being strong over the mile, he could prove hard to catch.
