She wound up gamely and took over late for a 0.5 length win over 1200m at Belmont on 18 August, then angled clear two wide into the straight and overhauled the leader late for a 0.4 length win over 1400m at Belmont on 1 September. Has a great chance to win again.

Powerful (Belmont Race 5 No. 7):
This four-year-old Nicconi gelding has one win and three places from 11 starts. He was only one-paced in the straight on a soft track when 3.2 lengths 6th over 1000m at Northam on 29 July, then led before being headed at the 200m and finishing 1.9 lengths 3rd over 1000m at Belmont on 25 August. Looks a solid each-way chance in this race.

Standout Rose (Belmont Race 6 No. 1):
This four-year-old Blackfriars mare is the early favourite in this Class 3 Handicap for Fillies & Mares over 1200m. She loomed up to win in the straight but was outmuscled late for 0.6 length 4th over 1600m at Ascot on 10 April, then pulled up lame after finishing 3.9 lengths 8th over 1300m at Northam on 13 May. Returns from a 16 week spell but offers no value.
