Going with this Demerit colt who is 1/1 in his career. He was really strong through the line first-up, beating home The Big One by half a length and the rest of the field by over two lengths. Up to 1200m suits and he has once again drawn ideally whilst mapping to get a dream run. His natural progression will offset the extra 2.5kg he has to carry and with even luck he goes close.

Rebelzone | (Belmont Race 8 No.5)
Although her run last start looked plain on paper, it has been hard coming up the middle of the Belmont track when the rail has been out, which is the only chance she had after drawing barrier 12. She ran the quickest 600m – 400m split of the race and sectional-wise, she wasn’t far away. She has got a lovely draw here as she steps back slightly in grade and depending on what the others do, she may need to ride for luck on the rail, but she has the right jock in Chris Parnham.
