Norich | (Belmont Race 5 No.3)
Following a string of firsts and seconds in weaker company, this son of Demerit went to a Saturday grade race against some decent opposition. He had to travel towards the rear of the field from the poor draw before coming with a nice run. He was held up at the 200m before finishing the race off nicely, only 1.5 lengths off the winner in sixth. This is a much easier race and providing the track is playing fair, I expect him to be flying late in the piece.

I’m Pretty | (Belmont Race 9 No.1)
Had absolutely no luck last start when first-up in Saturday grade. She was stuck on the rail with no place to go with another runner named Arnie’s Boy, who won comprehensively on Saturday. This is a lot easier than last start and she will once again get the 3kg claim, this time from Luke Campbell. She will take benefit from her last start effort and with even luck, she will be in the finish.
