This five-year-old Eurozone gelding trained by Grant & Alana Williams has four wins and four places from 19 starts. He was well back in the field and made some ground through the ruck for 2.56 lengths 6th over 1700m at Belmont on 23 June, then was shuffled back to las at he 600m before getting clear at the top of the stright and holdingon for a 0.4 length win over 1700m at Belmont on 14 July. Has William Pike aboard again and looks a great chance here.

Verdandi (Belmont Race 4 No. 6):
This six-year-old Musket mare has one win and six places from 13 starts. She looked the winner at the 200m but went down late for 0.78 length 2nd over 1400m at Northam on 1 July, then weaved through a narrow gap at the 200m and grabbed 3rd over 1300m at Northam on 15 July. Has a 3 kg claim and looks a a good each-way prospect.

Bollinger Boy (Belmont Race 7 No. 5):
This seven-year-old Blackfriars gelding is the early favourite in this No Metro Wins Last Year Handicap over 1700m. He kept coming steadily between runners for 1.9 lengths 3rd over 1600m at Belmont on 3 July, then battled on one paced for 6.48 lengths 6th over 1700m at Belmont on 14 July. Others offer better value and I am prepared to risk him.

The rail is in the true position. Bullock has been riding in terrific form and comes up with a strong card again. He looks the jockey to follow on a card full of favourites that are hard to beat. Best Bet Sardonyx (Scone Race 2 No.3 ) A key scratching comes out and leaves Sardonyx very hard to beat. Maps well, Bullock steers and gets the right race here.
