This two-year-old Slater gelding trained by Sue Olive has one place from two starts. On debut the winner was too good late and he finished 2 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Bunbury on 11 March, then he ran 1.08 lengths 4th in the Listed Perth Stakes over 1100m at Ascot on 20 March. He should roll forward and be very hard to beat.

Venetian Jewel (Bunbury Race 4 No. 8):
This four-year-old Snippetson mare has had three places from five starts and will be having her first run for trainer Michael Lane. She kept coming steadily for 1.69, 1.53 lengths 3rd over 1000m at Northam on 18 June, then kept finding the line after a tough run when 0.88 length 2nd over 1100m at Northam on 2 July. She is first-up after a 38 week break and should go well.

War Warrior (Bunbury Race 3 No. 4):
This three-year-old War Chant colt is the early favourite in this 3YO maiden race over 1108m. He is trained by Daniel Morton at Ascot and is having his first race but has trialled three times and has performed well. Some of the other runners look very close to a win and he offers no value here.
