This Nicconi gelding has a win and four places from eight starts. He wore the leader down at the 200m and dashed away for an easy 1.97 length win over 1000m in a maiden race at Belmont on 29 August after placing at the three starts before, then was outkicked lated for 1.08 length 2nd over 1300m in a class one at Belmont on 9 September. He has a 2kg claim and looks likely to win again.

This seven-year-old gelding has a good record at this track and distance combination with two wins and six places from 10 starts. He was 0.26 length 2nd over 1300m at Geraldton on 19 April, then arrived in the shadows for a narrow win over 1200m at Geraldton on 30 April. He resumes here after a 21 week spell and can usually run well first-up, so is worth an each-way bet.
