This three-year-old Universal Ruler gelding has only had one start, but he won it in such a professional style he looks like he can go on with it. He stalked the leader and overhauled them late for a 1.26 length win over 1400m in a maiden at Belmont on 9 September. This is a fairly weak Class One race and he should win again.

Without Reason (Belmont Race 7 No. 1):
This Dash For Cash gelding showed enough last start to put him in as an each-way bet. He got tightened at the 200m and struggled after that for 6.4 lengths 9th over 1650m at Belmont on 2 September, then drew clear in the final 150m and looked good winning by just over 2 lengths over 2100m at Belmont on 16 September. Looks a nice each-way bet.
