Oly’s Choice | (Belmont Race 1 No.5)
This son of Demerit should be undefeated after what happened last start. He was disappointed for a run several times in the straight before losing on the line to Hola Marea in dramatic circumstances. I don’t think the 1400m is going to be an issue, as he oozes class but he will need to be on his bike from the gate. Providing CJP can get to the front or outside the lead, I reckon he will be hard to catch. If they decide to go back, we will need luck, but that is out of our hands for now.

I reckon the stable is in for a nice day providing all goes to plan. This three-year-old colt was brilliant last start leading the entire way at Northam whilst setting fast pace, approx 6.4 lengths above the average. He drops back 100m which is ideal, he has drawn perfectly in barrier two and he will handle any conditions thrown at him. He is going to be in this race a long way, so hopefully he can pinch some sectionals to make it an easier watch.
