Hammarmill | (Belmont Race 4 No.6)
This filly was absolutely superb last start after having to settle at the rear of the field due to the wide draw. She came with a massive run, travelling wide at the turn before narrowly missing behind Colossal. It was a big run considering the rail was out 12m and this looks a lot easier in terms of rivals and a much better draw. I expect her to settle closer in the run before peeling off them in the straight and being much too good.

Cape Veloce | (Belmont Race 3 No.2)
I black booked this bloke following his solid second-up effort behind Revitup, going down by 1.1 lengths in second place. He managed to put the remainder of the field away by 4 lengths which shows he is definitely above average. The query is stepping up from 1000m to 1400m but with the inside draw, he shouldn’t have to do a lot of work, so we should be able to see firsthand if he can run it out. He isn’t the only one with this query, but he has a class edge.

She’s Puzzling | (Belmont Race 2 No.9)
She has had four starts for four placings and to me, hasn’t shown me anything to deserve being the favourite, let alone this short in the market. Based on her current price and a draw that will have her buried, I am happy to oppose her.
