This three-year-old My Admiration gelding trained by Adam Durrant has two wins from five starts. He ran on strongly taking over a the 125m for an easy 2.2 length win over 1400m at Belmont on 11 November, then battled evenly for 4.5 lengths 6th in the Group 2 WA Guineas over 1600m at Ascot on 20 November. Back to a Class 3 at the track where he has won twice he looks the testing material.

Requisition (Belmont Race 9 No. 6):
This seven-year-old Trade Fair gelding has six wins and seven places from 41 starts. He led narrowly into the straight but was headed at the 100m and finished 3.8 lengths 6th over 1000m at Ascot on 16 October, then fanned four wide approaching the turn and ran on for a narrow win over 1100m at Ascot on 2 November with the best final 400m of the meeting. The shorter distance looks ideal and he is a great each-way hope .

Westriver Miracle (Belmont Race 3 No. 5):
This four-year-old All American gelding trained by Anne King is the early favourite in this Maiden race over 1400m. When resuming from a 37 week spell he finished 0.7 length 3rd over 1400m at Belmont on 4 November, then was held up for most of the straight and carried back by a tiring leader to run 5.1 lengths 11th over 1300m at Belmont on 17 November. Other runners look closer to a win.
