This four-year-old Star Witness gelding trained by Adam Durrant has two wins and three places from six starts. He ran on strongly along the inside and drew clear in the final 100m for a 1.17 length win over 1100m at Albany on 26 April, then tried hard but was outkicked for 1.33 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Ascot on 12 May. He is on a seven day back-up , has William Pike aboard and looks a good thing.

Life For A Life (Pinjarra Park Race 5 No. 3):
This three-year-old All American gelding has had seven starts for two wins and two places.He burst to the front at the 200m for a 1.45 length win over 1200m at Geraldton 0n 18 April, then was outkicked in the straight on a hevy track for 0.61 length 2nd over 1240m at Albany on 7 May. He has a 3 kg claim and looks a good chance of running a place.

English Heritage (Pinjarra Park Race 8 No. 8):
This three-year-old Heritage filly is the early favourite in this Class 1 Handicap over 1500m. When resuming from a 14 week break she won a 1200m maiden race at Ascot by 0.83 length on 14 April, then fought evenly for 2.55 lengths 6th over 1400m at Northam on 2 May. Has drawn well but is likely to settle off the speed and seemed a little shy of coming through the field last outing. Not a value bet.
