This four-year-old Universal Ruler mare has two wins and six places from eight starts and has won her last two in a row. Although she played up in the gate she got the box seat and from an inside run into the straight she sprinted clear over the final 200m to win by 3.57 lengths over 1116m at Bunbury on 3 January, then led and was shaken up at the 200m when tiring and held on for a 0.55 length win over 1100m at Ascot on 23 January. With the 2kg claim she has a good chance of bringing up a hat-trick of wins.

Sunset Cruise (Bunbury Race 8 No. 6):
This three-year-old filly has one win and four places from seven starts. She was blocked to the 100m and drove into 3rd when it was all over in a Class 3 handicap over 2000m at Pinjarra Park on 6 December, then wound up between runners to grab 0.35 length 2nd over 1800m at Ascot on 23 December. She has had an eight week let-up and looks an excellent each-way prospect.
