Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

No Surrender (Ascot Race 4 No. 1)
This three-year-old Universal Ruler gelding has three wins and four places from ten starts and all his wins have been at this track. He tired and was picked off late for 0.54, 0.09 lengths 3rd over 1400m on a soft track at Ascot on 18 November, then held on for a 0.3 length win over 1500m at Ascot on 9 December. Looks the likely winner.

Each Way

Classic Chant (Ascot Race 7 No. 8):
This six-year-old War Chant mare has three wins and five places from 15 starts. At the end of last campaign she was ahead but was passed late for 0.16, 0.28 lengths 3rd over 1000m at Ascot on 5 November 2019. She resumed after 56 weeks for 0.14 length 2nd over 1000m at Northam on 3 December. Has a 3kg claim and the speed to overcome the wide barrier and looks a nice each-way bet.

Ghost Who Walks (Ascot Race 5 No. 6):
This three-year-old God Has Spoken gelding is the early favourite in this Class 3 handicap over 1400m. He finished 2.24 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Ascot on 18 November, then tried hard for 1.87 lengths 2nd over 1420m at Bunbury on 2 December. This is a race with several chances and he doesn’t represent value.
