Cold Shizzle (Belmont Race 1 No. 2)
With two wins and two places from five starts, this three-year-old Awesome Rock gelding has a good start to his career. He resumed from a 24 week spell for a 0.6 length win over 1200m at Belmont on 17 November, then went on with it for a 0.6 length win over 1200m at Ascot on 8 December with a good final 400m race sectional. Looks the main hope again.

Count Grundy (Belmont Race 6 No. 1):
This four-year-old Rogano gelding has one win and four places from nine starts. When resuming from an 18 week spell he got caught in traffic before 2.2 lengths 5th over 1200m at Belmont on 17 November, then he led and was tiring late but hung on for a narrow win over 1400m at Belmont on 1 December. Should be fitter now and looks an each-way chance in this Class 1 handicap.

Fashion Queen (Belmont Race 7 No. 5):
This four-year-old Al Maher mare trained by Adam Durrant is the early favourite in this No Metro Wins Last Year handicap over 1600m. She started favourite and finished 1.6 lengths 2nd over 1400m at Ascot on 30 October, then started favourite when 3.6 lengths 2nd in the Pinjarra Grandstand Cup over 1500m on 5 December. She is getting expensive and I’m prepared to go around her here.
