This five-year-old mare has three wins and two places from 11 starts. She resumed after 17 weeks to finish 0.51 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Ascot on 9 December, then angled four wide between runners into the straight and ran on strongly to take over late for a 0.55 length win over 1000m at Ascot on 23 December. Two of her three wins have been at this track and she looks the likely winner.

Chisano (Bunbury Race 9 No. 4):
This six-year-old mare has three wins and seven places from 21 starts. She fought hard until she peaked in the last 50m for 1.27 lengths 5th over 1120m at Geraldton on 22 May, then fought gamely but was swamped in the final 75m for 2.35 lengths 4th over 1220m at Geraldton on 5 June. Resuming here after 31 weeks she goes well first-up and won her latest trial. Looks a good each-way bet.

Roman Flirt (Bunbury Race 8 No. 4):
This five-year-old mare is the early favourite in this no-metropolitan wins last year benchmark race over 1410m. At the end of last campaign she battled away for 7.93 lengths 4th over 2200m at Belmont on 25 July before a 20 week spell. She resumed for 0.07, 0.95 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Bunbury on 13 December. There are several chances in this field and she doesn’t represent value.
