Our Boy Dylan | (Pinjarra Race 2 No. 1)
This bet is a slight risk, but he is the best horse in this race on his day. He is returning after 110 days off, winning at Ascot in April to end his preparation. The risk is the heavy track but his biggest win margin-wise race first-up last preparation at this track and distance on a soft 7, and he stormed home by two lengths. Despite not having an official trial, he will get a nice 3kg off here with Luke Campbell riding and will carry less than what he carried first-up last preparation. He ticks every box and if he can tick the heavy box, I think he wins.

The Dominican | (Pinjarra Race 3 No.2)
This bloke absolutely glided through the heavy going last start here at Pinjarra, going down by 0.2 of a length after coming from seventh on the turn. I love the step up to 1600m here and he has drawn wide but that isn’t a concern as he will likely settle in the second half of the field anyway. He will need luck but he is progressive and with the luck, he goes close again.
