She took over at the 175m but was collared late for 0.8 length 3rd over 1600m at Kalgoorlie on 5 September, then wound up slowly to get there in the final strides for a 0.4 length win over 1400m at Kalgoorlie on 19 September. Is going well at the moment and looks the leading hope.

This five-year-old Sessions mare has one win and two places from 10 starts. She is one of four runners in the race trained by Peter Fernie. She hit the line gamely for 0.1 length 2nd in a Class2 Handicap over 1200m at Kalgoorlie on 15 August, then didn’t come on in the straight and finished 12.4 lengths last over 1300m at Kalgoorlie on 5 September where the jockey was concerned with her action and she had a laceration. Looks worth an each-way bet with William Pike riding again.

This six-year-old City Place mare trained by David Smith at Kalgoorlie is the early favourite in this RTG 58+ Handicap over 1200m. She fought on gamely for 0.4 length 4th in a blanket finish over 1200m at Kalgoorlie on 5 September, then got to the lead then laid out in the straight and was beaten 0.7 length 2nd over 1000m at Belmont on 15 September. Doesn’t win out-of-turn and willing to risk her here.
