Kia Ora Jewel (Northam Race 8 No. 5)
This four-year-old Turn Me Loose mare comes off a maiden win. She ran on strongly while laying in and finished 1.9 lengths 4th over 1300m at Northam on 11 August in a run that said back me next time. She took over at the 150m for an easy 2.1 length win over 1600m a Pinjarra Park on 19 August where she started favourite. This looks like the right distance for her and she is a strong hope.

Mega Reward (Northam Race 6 No. 3)
This four-year-old Reward for Effort gelding has ran well at both starts this campaign. He resumed from a 22 week spell for a 0.7 length win over 1000m at Belmont on heavy going on 10 August, then wound up slowly for 0.9 length 2nd over 1000m at Northam on 25 August. Should race on the speed and is on a seven day back-up. Looks a great each-way chance.

Green And Shady (Northam Race 7 No. 3)
This gelding trained by Luke Fernie is the early favourite in this Class 5 Handicap over 1400m. He made some ground through the ruck for 1.8 lengths 5th over 1600m at Belmont on 20 August, then started favourite in a Class 3 handicap over 1400m at Belmont on 31 August and finished 2.6 lengths 9th. Has drawn the inside barrier but expected more from him last start and prefer others here.
