Niigata (Northam Race 8 No. 7)
This four-year-old Reset mare has improved with each of her three runs this campaign. She was held up for the majority of the straight when 2.3 lengths 6th over 1200m at Belmont where she looked to have plenty to offer, then she loomed at the 175m but was jostled late and finished 1.2 lengths 4th ove 1400m at Belmont on 31 August. Has draenthe inside barrier and looks a great each-way chance.

Our Cranbourne Tips for Thursday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is true the entire circuit for the night meeting. The best bet is due for a change of luck and the usual jockey hops aboard to atone. Best Bet Brier (Cranbourne Race 3 No. 2) Hasn't had much luck to date and finds the right race to atone. Drawn well and Hefel sticks, she would be keen to get the right steer in and the price has been well tried. $2.40
