Ataboy Charlie | (Northam Race 2 No.1)
This son of Myboycharlie is well placed to break his maiden status here finally. Coming off two placings at Pinjarra over the mile, he will be ready to go one better at Northam over the same distance. Last start, he was very unlucky going down by less than a length whilst running wide throughout the event. His figures were similar to the third placing the start prior and replication of those figures has him winning this race nicely. He is drawn well, retains Parnham in the saddle and maps to sit in the front four. He is going to be hard to beat.

Blazing Tycoon | (Northam Race 5 No.4) / No Apology |(Northam Race 5 No.1)
Going with this Written Tycoon gelding here on the back of his 0.6 of a length defeat in a similar class last start here at Northam. He wasn’t too far away when coming from the second half of the field to finish nicely in third. The drop back to 1100m shouldn’t worry him too much and if his regular jockey Victoria Corver can get him going early, he is definitely going to be strong towards the end of the race. No Apology is the other I want to back as his figures are superb and so is his first-up record. I have no doubt he will be strong late and looking for further but the 3kg claim brings him right in and the Stephen Miller stable is on fire at the moment.
