Our Northam Horse Racing Tips for Sunday’s meeting.
Stars Aplenty (Northam Race 1 No. 3)
This four-year-old gelding trained by Colin Webster at Ascot has two places from his six starts. He resumed from a spell with a tenacious 0.3 length win in a Class One handicap over 1000m at Belmont on 24 August, then edged ahead at the 100m but was grabbed on the line for 2nd in a Class Three handicap over 1000m at Belmont on 14 September. Rates highly here.

English Heritage (Northam Race 8 No. 5)
This five-year-old Heritage mare has placed at her last 2 starts. She angled four wide into the straight and wound up gamely for a length 2nd over 1200m at Belmont on 17 August, then was held up coming into the straight before finishing 1.4 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Northam on 1 September. Looks a great each-way chance.

Manhattan Strip (Northam Race 6 No. 12)
This three-year-old Manhattan Rain colt trained by Daniel & Ben Pearce is the early favourite in this Maiden race over 1600m. He has raced 3 times for a 4th and two 5ths. Last start he failed to finish it off when 3.1 lengths 5th over 1300m at Belmont, and not sure the rise to 1600m will help him.
