She ran on strongly from back in the field to finish 0.9 length 2nd over 1000m at Belmont on 26 June, then got well back before running on strongly for 2.2 lengths 4th in the Listed Beaufine Stakes over 100m at Belmont with the best final 400m of the meeting. Has won 3 from 3 first-up and loves Ascot. Should win.

This six-year-old Roman Emperor mare trained by Daniel & Ben Pearce has five wins and seven places from 19 starts. She finished 2.9 lengths 4th over 1600m at Belmont on 4 September, then didn’t run on when 5.9 lengths 5th over 1600m at Northam on 16 September where she pulled up lame. Should go well here and looks a good each-way bet.

Secret Plan (Ascot Race 10 No. 10):
This four-year-old I Am Invincible gelding has two wins and four places from seven starts and is the early favourite in this rating 66+ Handicap over 1200m. He finished 1.8 lengths 3rd over 1000m at Belmont on 26 June, then got away for a 2.6 length win on a heavy track over 1200m at Belmont on 10 July. Resumes here after a 13 week break and has not won in three previous outings to Ascot, so I am prepared to risk him here.
